About PyBaMM

PyBaMM (Python Battery Mathematical Modelling) is an open-source battery simulation package written in Python. Our mission is to accelerate battery modelling research by providing open-source tools for multi-institutional, interdisciplinary collaboration.

Broadly, PyBaMM consists of a framework for writing and solving systems of differential equations, a library of battery models and parameters, and specialized tools for simulating battery-specific experiments and visualizing the results.

Together, these enable flexible model definitions and fast battery simulations, allowing users to explore the effect of different battery designs and modelling assumptions under a variety of operating scenarios.

Code of Conduct

We value the participation of everyone and want all participants to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to other participants throughout the workshop and through all communication channels. To make clear what is expected, all participants, speakers, exhibitors, organisers and volunteers at the PyBaMM Battery Modelling Conference are required to conform to the following Code of Conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. The PyBaMM community Code of Conduct can be found here.

SUMMARY

The PyBaMM Battery Modelling Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other attendees. Behave professionally. Remember that harassment and exclusionary jokes are not appropriate at the PyBaMM Battery Modelling Conference. Do not send any unprofessional messages to other participants, including but not limited to private messages in Slack, Zoom, or other communication channels. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference at the sole discretion of the organisers. Thank you for helping make this a welcoming, friendly event for all.
